The Concept: DOJO 2.0 is a futuristic styled new restaurant in Antwerp. The dining area is dominated by an imposing cast concrete bar and central stainless steel open kitchen.
The new bathrooms needed to continue with this theme, translating it to a more enclosed space.
The design features cast concrete elements which spread across the walls of the space and integrate the custom built sink.
Thoughtful material choices
The sink is made from a modified recycled fermentation vat, creating an aesthetic link with the restaurant and kitchen space.
Gentle LED lighting diffuses from behind the mirror onto the Venetian plaster wall finish.
Elements like the paper, soap and hand towels are integrated into the design.
